RM Wineries Korea made a bold entry into the global premium wine market at the 23rd World Korean Business Convention (WKBC) in Atlanta, officially launching a new category they call “Korean Branded Washington Wine.”

At the heart of their debut was GAHSS’NA, a sparkling rosé inspired by the Busan dialect word “가시나 (gashina)”. By combining local identity and emotional branding with Washington State’s advanced winemaking expertise, the brand positioned itself as more than just wine—it showcased a fusion of identity, quality, and content in one product.

The reaction was swift. Buyers from the U.S., Canada, and the CIS region rushed in with offers, including exclusive distribution proposals and pre-orders. Business meetings filled the booth throughout the event, underscoring RM Wineries Korea’s role as a contract-driven brand rather than a mere exhibitor.

A dedicated launch ceremony for GAHSS’NA further elevated the moment, attended by representatives from Busan Metropolitan City, the Seattle Port Authority, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, Korean American Chambers of Commerce, and RM Wineries USA. During the ceremony, GAHSS’NA was officially awarded Busan’s “Representative Brand Certificate,” cementing its reputation as a global label with strong local roots. The Washington State Wine Commission also offered strong support, highlighting the importance of U.S.–Korea collaboration in both industry and culture.

Key achievements from the convention included:
• Strategic partnership with Uzbekistan distributor Growy Me, expanding export channels across the CIS region
• MOUs with the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and RM Wineries USA to strengthen global distribution infrastructure
• Supply negotiations with major U.S. dining and retail brands
• A $432K supply contract signed with a leading Korean liquor company

Adding to the momentum, Michael O’dlee, Chairman of RM Wineries Korea, was appointed as a board member of the Intergenerational Global Network (IGN) under the Federation of Korean American Chambers of Commerce. His appointment reflects how the company’s achievements extend beyond business growth, becoming a model for next-generation Korean entrepreneurs building global networks.
